We have a range of dresses from various Designers that are available to order. Our sample gowns ready for you to try on range from a size 12 to a size 26.

 

We are stockists for Essense of Australia’s Every Bride Every Body Range too – if you are worried, please do not hesitate to ask us. We know wedding dresses can come up smaller than your day to day clothing and we are here for you if you have any questions.

We also sell our sample gowns off the peg at a reduced price. See our website and in-store for more information.

For dresses bought off the peg, payment in full is ideally required at the time of purchase. If you love one of our samples but need a bit of time to think, just ask us to reserve it for you.

 

Dresses that are ordered are done so by paying a non-refundable deposit. This can be paid by instalments – see payment plans or ask us!

Yes of course, deposits are 50% of the price of the dress at the time of order. All deposits are non-returnable and non-refundable. The balance of the gown falls due within 7 days of it arriving at the Boutique.

 

You can also pay later by using our Payment Plans.

You need to be sure about your purchase at the time you buy. All gowns are non-returnable and non-refundable. This is common practise in the bridal industry.

Yes, of course, we are happy to welcome back our customers for as many appointments as they need. We understand that it is a huge decision and it is sometimes a difficult one to make. Just remember, you need to factor in the time it takes from ordering a dress to its arrival. Don’t leave it too late!

Dresses will be ordered based on your measurements. They can be altered to fit.

 

With sample dresses that you can buy off the peg, we suggest that a dress that is too big can usually be altered down by a size or two. Seam allowances vary, so we are here to advise you.

We have a list of recommended seamstresses that we know and we will provide you with this information when you need it.

About our service

Yes. The Boutique has parking for you and your friends and family to use.

 

There is a disabled parking bay and easy access for mobility scooters/wheelchairs.

We have an appointment service because it allows you time to view and try on the dresses without being disturbed. It also enables us to give you our full attention and to enjoy the experience of visiting the Boutique.

You are choosing a dress from our extensive selection of sample gowns in store. We have over 80 of them! Most of these are available to order unless we are selling off a discontinued gown. We can advise you on lead times for a dress that you order from us.

We are happy to spend as long with you as you need, even if it means a second (or third) appointment. Appointments are scheduled 1.5 hours but can be shorter or longer, dependant on your needs.

 

You can bring up to 3 people with you to an appointment. If you would like to bring more, please contact us. Thank you.

 

We operate a free VIP experience for each one of our brides and we find this is best done with fewer people. We are happy for you to come back with different friends or family or to have a reveal appointment too if you say Yes to the Dress!

Although the gowns you will try on are our samples, we want to keep them as perfect as possible for each bride and because we sell our samples too. So, it is preferable that you do not wear make up or perfume. Most bridal stores do make this request.

 

The worst offender is fake tan! Please DO NOT wear this when trying on any dresses.

We accept cash, debit and credit cards, and by bank transfer.

Payment plans are available. Just ask! We can split the cost of both your gown deposit and the final balance over a period of time to help you. We can also take a lower deposit and split the balance over 6-9 months.

We have our sample gowns in various sizes from a size 12 up to a size 26. We understand that not everyone is a size zero!

Our Boutique can serve two brides at a time. The boutique is discretely divided in to two completely separate areas and you will have plenty of room for you and your bridal party.

 

If you need or would prefer to have the boutique to yourself, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We are open Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 5pm. We are also open on a Sunday once a month.

 

We are open two evenings a week: Wednesday and Thursday too.

 

We also offer virtual appointments should you want to see the boutique and us first!

 

You can book your appointment online with us but if you cannot find what you are looking for just drop us a line.

We recommend you look at least 12 months before your Big Day to get a firmer idea of what you would like to wear. By 9 months before, you should be looking to order because it can take 6 months for a dress to arrive.

 

Some dresses are available more quickly and you can also buy off the peg. It is always worth asking us.

We love to be recommended and, if your friend tells us about you by name, you will receive a gift from us and they will receive a discount too! Win win!!

Please note, we do not charge for our appointments. However, if you fail to cancel an appointment within 24 hours of its time or you choose to just not show up, we will contact you to take a cancellation fee of £30.00. We respectfully ask that, should you not need your appointment, you let us know. Thank you very much for your understanding.
