Covid-19 Company Policy & Procedures
It has been an interesting few months since we were all asked to stay at home in March. Our world is definitely a different place now and that includes our Boutique.
We have put together our COVID-19 policy because we want you to feel safe and relaxed when you visit us. This our new ‘normal’. We hope you can understand that we want to keep everyone safe and well.
This policy will remain in place until such time as we advise you differently.
HAND SANITISING STATIONS
We will ask you to not arrive early for your appointment. We will be unable to let you in! On arrival, please wait to be greeted and then come into our reception area.
We have a hand sanitising station positioned in our Reception (further sanitiser is available in the Boutique too). We will be asking you to please use these sanitisers when you arrive and during your appointment.
You will be asked to wear a face mask throughout your appointment. (You can bring your own mask if you would like to.) If you need one of our disposable masks, they will be provided when you arrive. Social distancing is not always possible, so this is a compulsory measure for all our staff, all brides and their guest(s).
NO MORE THAN TWO GUESTS PER BRIDE
In order for us to follow and maintain social distancing within the Boutique, we are asking our brides to bring themselves plus a MAXIMUM of two others with them.
We cannot permit more than this amount of people in the Boutique per appointment and, if any more people do come with you, we will not be allowing them in the Boutique. Please don’t make us have to turn your friends or family away!
With the latest Government announcements, we have updated our policy document which will be sent to you when you book, or you can ask us for a copy. For the time being, nothing has changed – and this will be the case for the foreseeable future.
You are welcome to use our complimentary WiFi and bring along your own devices to allow your wider bridal party to be with you ‘virtually’ via Facetime, WhatsApp, Zoom etc.
TO KEEP YOU AND THE DRESSES SAFE…
The staff from the Boutique will be the handling the gowns. We will ask our bride to be to wear a pair of gloves so she can touch them too.
We would respectively request that your guests take a seat where guided to. They can be supplied with gloves should they wish to touch any products.
This also applies to any other products in the Boutique. We will discuss with you what you are looking for and select the gowns with the bride, keeping to social distancing rules in so far is practicably possible.
RIGOROUS CLEANING & SANITISING PROCEDURES
We have had to alter how we run our appointments – these are now at set times and will last for no longer than 1.5 hours (unless there is not an appointment after you). In between these appointment times, the Boutique and products will be sanitised.
Each wedding dress will be sanitised after it has been tried on.
We will be cleaning at the end of each day too.
We will be adhering to the 2m social distancing rule as much as possible within the boutique. We have re-organised the Boutique to accommodate this in so far as we can.
We would respectively request that you and your bridal party check their temperature on the day of your appointment. If any of you have a temperature or any of the symptoms of Coronavirus, please DO NOT come to your appointment.
- Due to the fluidity of the Covid-19 situation, these points are subject to change and will be reviewed regularly.
- Each bride that books an appointment with us will receive an email with these points and more. Please make sure you read this email and if you do not receive it, let us know BEFORE you come to see us.
