Covid-19 Company Policy & Procedures
In light of the recent changes by the Government, we have now updated our Covid Policy for the Boutique.
We want you to feel safe and relaxed when you visit us. We also need to respect our staff and others who may be in the Boutique at the same time as you.
This revised policy will remain in place until such time as we advise you differently.
HAND SANITISING STATIONS
We will ask you to not arrive early for your appointment. If you are a little early, then please wait outside, or in your vehicle.
On arrival, we will welcome you into our reception area.
We have a hand sanitising station positioned in our Reception (further sanitiser is available in the Boutique too). We will be asking you to please continue to use these sanitisers when you arrive and during your appointment.
STILL A MASKED EXPERIENCE
It is now not a legal requirement for you to wear a face mask. However, we have decided that, because of the proximity of our staff and a bride, to continue to ask brides to wear a mask whilst in our changing rooms. If you wish to remove your mask when in the main Boutique area, you can.
Dependant on the number of guests you have with you, we will also be asking your guests to wear masks during your appointment too. Social distancing is not always possible, and, on a Saturday, the Boutique can get particularly busy. Therefore, if you are bringing more than two guests, masks will still be mandatory.
NO MORE THAN TWO GUESTS PER BRIDE ON A SATURDAY
Although the Government have relaxed the rules around social distancing, they have recommended that we continue to wear face coverings “…. when you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet …. “
We feel that our environment means that we need to continue with our request that you only bring two guests with you to your appointment at our busiest time, i.e., a Saturday.
For the safety of our staff, including our seamstress and because Saturday’s can be our busiest time, we cannot permit more than this amount of people in the Boutique per appointment. If you want to bring more people with you, please contact us IN ADVANCE of your appointment so we can make arrangements for you and your party. Thank you.
If any more people do come with you, we will not be allowing them in the Boutique. Please do not make us have to turn your friends or family away!
You are welcome to use our complimentary WiFi and bring along your own devices to allow your wider bridal party to be with you ‘virtually’ via Facetime, WhatsApp, Zoom etc.
RIGOROUS CLEANING & SANITISING PROCEDURES
Our appointments are set for 1.5 hours to allow us to sanitise the boutique in between these appointment times. We will continue to do this.
Each wedding dress will be sanitised after it has been tried on.
We will continue to fully sanitise the boutique at the end of each day too.
Social distancing rules cease from 16th August 2021, until such time, we will continue to respect the 1 metre rule.
We would respectively request that you and your bridal take an NHS lateral flow test on the day of your appointment.
If any of you have a temperature or any of the symptoms of Coronavirus, please DO NOT come to your appointment.
- Due to the fluidity of the Covid-19 situation, these points are subject to change and will be reviewed regularly.
- Each bride that books an appointment with us will receive an email with these points and more. Please make sure you read this email and if you do not receive it, let us know BEFORE you come to see us.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to our Boutique. We cannot wait to see you!
